There was a change in the promotion-software during 1.7.4. The executable files are both the same.

That's good, the error isn't in MPE installation. I knew the error is caused by a MS update, but till now I can't fix it

Can you roll back this update ?
We never found the exact reason for this behavior. It did not appear on any PC's in the last year i think.

I can't roll back, because many updates were installed at the same time and I don't know which update is the problem.
