I suggest the following:
Reinstall the latest version.
Zip up the entire directory and save it somewhere else so you lose no data.
Run Microsoft Windows Installer cleanup http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 to remove My Phone Explorer
Now reinstall it, and run it. See if you encounter any problems.
If not, restore the data files (or unzip to a different directory, then point to that directory to import / restore.

Hello Geoff,

Can you please specify if the solution that Ima suggested worked, because I have the same problem too

Upgrading to the latest versions from 1.62 --> 1.6.6 didn't work.
Perhaps there is an incompatibility with the phone because I too have the W810i

To 99% it has nothing to do with the phone, do you have the possibilities to test it with another phone ?
