Uploaded just a few minutes ago a updated beta. Changes in detail:
- all time-parameters in the requests are sent as GMT-Stamp
- MPE reads out the Date of the Google-Server to ensure that all modified feeds are retrieved
- MPE checks on every new event if it exists already in Google (so there should be no more duplicate entries)
@Mietzsche: Please test now the fast-sync again. It should work now. Google makes no diffrence between auto-reminders and normal reminders. So its not possible to sort them out
Please test the sync again.
For me it was a really important change to make a real sync with only updated feeds. I saw that the sync time has been changed from 1 minute to 5 seconds - cool
Sigh!

Just installed last uptate (I assumed it is MyPhoneExplorer_DebugUpdate.exe linked some posts above).
Fast sync gives no problem now, but the whole sync does not work at all: MPE reads events both on the phone and google but writes theme nowhere!
Just sync between MPE and phone works now.
It seems THE ONLY release writing on google for me was the firts beta you released (that i've lost so a can't retest).
Also tried to uninstall and reinstall MPE, nothing changes, i'm gonna try on another pc and another google calendar.
Thank you.
Reminders all over

Thank you for the update!
One major problem for me is that suddenly, every event that is synced from Google to my phone gets a reminder, even though they don't have a reminder in Google. This happens both to new and old events. I don't use reminders much, as I don't need the phone to make a sound every time i have an appointment. If this is an intentional behavior, I would at least recommend an option to disable reminder syncing.
Update

Update: I've tried on another pc:
-MPE syncs FROM GOOGLE
-GOOGLE syncs FRORM MPE ONLY on recurrent events (no matter if recurrence is set in 1year, one week, one day ...)
I'm getting Mad
I said that the firs beta woked, but now i've realized that it only wrote all recurrent events just like the last beta!

@Gjest: In the official version it was not possible to sync reminders. I got many feedbacks that this is a "bug". Now its in it and you wish to disable it. A sync should make data equal.
Maybe you have set in Google a default reminder for all events.
@Mietzsche: Don't get mad - its a beta and therefore its good if you get errors so i can fix them before the official release.
Please run MPE in Debugmode and post the logfile after the failed sync in the forum (or upload it somewhere)

Ok! Let's cooperate!
Now MPE has the same behaviour on my two PCs (both Vista), i'll try XP too.
- GOOGLE -> MPE OK
- MPE -> GOOGLE ONLY RECURSIVE
- so I create two new Appointment with the following text as object:
1) Recursive event
2) Non recusive event
- than I syncronized
-only the recursive was written in google
- and here is the log:

The problem was easy to find: Your country uses a this timeformat: 12.00.00 - Google expects 12:00:00 . But please don't change your system-settings because of this. I will fix the bug when i go home.

@Mietzsche: Bug fixed. Now it should work also in the "Fast mode"

Well, the problem is not the reminder syncing in general. The problem is that EVERY event created in Google gets a reminder on the phone, even though the reminder is not enabled in Google (not default reminder, and not for the specific event).
The reason I suggested an option to disable reminder syncing, was that I didn't know if this behavior was intentional. But if I understand you right, only events that have reminder turned on in Google should get a reminder on the phone. This is not the case at the moment, so I guess there must be a bug somewhere.

My apologies. Seems like one of the accounts that had write access to the calendar had a default reminder turned on, and this was enough to enable reminders for all events that were synced. Guess there is no bug then

Great!
Oh my Country ... always special!
I cannot try new fixes till Monday, since I'm to my Parents for some days and forgot the fast-port cable, you know it's not easy to find one in a 800 people village!
The bad is that i just gave my Mini-usb cable i use for mp3 player to a friend of mine so he can sync and charge is Qtek! GRRR....

Yea! It seems like is working flawlessly now! Great Work.
Just one thing: I'd like to have the chosen default reminder type instead of Popup, but that's not a bug!
EDIT: Don't know if it's my PC but really often when i disconnect the cable before closing MPE the program hangs and there no way to shut it down, even in tskmanager: the only way is a hard-reboot!

I've just installed the latest beta patch and I'm experiencing something strange.
The first sync worked perfect, but after that, If I sync again the app recognized the events that were pushed from Google as "new" in the phone and tries to push them back to google again. Even if I choose to use the google version, it keeps asking me to push them in every sync.
Attaching the sync and app logs, thanks for your help

Hi,
I also tested your update. For me it works. Only one bug. When making an existing appointment to an anniversary, I only can take the event from google but not the one from my phone. When adding an reminder in google. it's only synced when the fast-sync is turned off.

@martindelia: Are you sure that your PC and your Google-Calendar is set to the same timezone ? note that you can set a timezone for each calendar in Google. If this was not the problem: Pleas erun MyPhoneExplorer with the startparameter "debug" so i can see the whole communication to Google in your Applog. Then Force all "issued events" from phone to Google so i can see also the Upload-Stream to Google
@Cor:
When adding an reminder in google. it's only synced when the fast-sync is turned off.
. Thank you for this Information - you are right. I went a littlebit deeper into the problem. Its a bug related to Google. If you set/change the reminder in Google then the "updated"-Field gets not refreshed. I posted this in the Calendar-Group and i hope they will fix it soon.
When making an existing appointment to an anniversary, I only can take the event from google but not the one from my phone.
Sorry, couldn't reproduce it. Please tell me every step exactly
- where did you changed the appointment to anniversary
- what shows the sync-window. Which options you have ?

Oké. I see. Now the problem is over. I don't know what it was. I'm happy that the sync with google calendar is working yet again. Thanks al lot

FJ, both my GCal and my pc are at GMT-3, so it's not the problem.
Here you can find the app log (debug mode) and sync log.
Thanks !!!
