I don't think so. Please note that you have to import messages forst into the SMS-Archive. After this you can upload them to phone.

I had imported them in to the SMS Archive but it still didn't work. However my phone was having other issues - the media player kept crashing when I tried to view photos - so I performed a master reset. I have now been able to import all of my old messages, thank you!

I share all the comments that this is an awesome piece of s/w and loads of my mates now use it on my recommendation.

My question is that when I receive a message on my K850, it vibrates but doesn't show the 'new message' icon. The message appears in MPE, but I would expect it to remain unread until I open it on the phone or MPE. Is this normal behavior?

Also, when sending messages with MPE (I love this feature - saves the RSI!) I do not receive delivery reports back to the phone, even though they are enabled. Is there a way around this?

The photo sync works nice on the K850i.

But just a small thing - when the photo arrives on the PC in landscape mode and I rotate it on the PC (in windows picture and fax viewer) - next time I sync, the same photo is received again from the phone. Maybe some time stamp or because the file is changed on the PC when it was rotated?

But the photos are big and it would be nice to avoid receiving them again...

1) I know this and i've tried to find a better solution - but there is no way to control the actions from the phone.

2) You'll get the report in MyPhoneExplorer, i know it would be better if they were saved in the phone but this is technically not possible.

The photo-sync checks filename and filesize. The filesize-check is needed cause it can happen that you have equal filenames on diffrent photos (MemoryStick & Phonememory). MyPhoenExplorer will download the file again as new file and it doesn't overwrite the old one. You have two possibilities:
- let one file unedited on the PC
- delete the file on the phone

So K850 works in VISTA too right?

Oh one more thing found. For K850i, when I click on the Speaker icon in your Call Monitor, it actually activates the MENU button on the phone. No more for LoudSpeaker.

You might want to check on it.

Which keys do you need to use when you want to set your phone to speaker? Go to advanced 1 in the settings dialog and set it. click the question mark and all will be explained.

however the phone doesn't change to 2nd entry on menu when I press 2. Hence it won't work. Unless there is a key to scroll down. Is there?

Maybe the K750i doesn't support selecting menu-entrys via numbers. Please try ]vJ (right softkey-joystick down-joystick press)

I've been using MPE 1.6.2 on Vista with my K850i for over a week now. Transferred all my contacts from Outlook fine and have copied over my message archive without any problems.

One problem which I have (which may not be related to my K850i); When I sent a text from MPE it is not stored in my "Sent Items" on my phone. I'm sure it used to do this when I used MPE with my K800i.

On the "New message" Window there is a checkbox on the bottom of the window to enable "Save to sent"
