My Win 10 computer crashes

Just as others have shown, MPE crashes when I try to sync. This problem is with wifi and usb connection. I am disappointed as I used to rely on this program. I guess I will find another solution.
Problem solved!

I found the solution on my PC: MPE is not compatible with the newest Phoner.exe (version 3.11) running on the same machine!
Phoner.exe is one of the best free SIP softphone applications for Windows. However, it seems to collide with MPE, probably using some common resources or interface.
Maybe someone can figure it out.
PS: I haven't tried it with PhonerLite.
MPE Crashes

I do not have Phoner program installed on my computer so I don't think that is the issue with my computer.

Phoner was the application that was causing constant crashes of MPE on my Windows 10. Maybe MPE is using some interface or resource, that Windows 10 does not allow to share with other apps. Maybe the dev of MPE can use this information to solve the puzzle.

I have to correct my statement about phoner: Disabling it solved some crashes, but not all.
MPE is still very unstable in my Windows 10 machine. I have no problems with any other software.
MPE crashes at least once during every sync - most frequently while syncing the message folder.
Anyone listening...?

Installed newest Windows 10 (64 bit) Updates.
MPE is still crashing on every sync (mostly at end of message sync or after sending an SMS), but also when I just plain open the settings dialog.
Currently, it's the only unstable software on my machine. In fact, it crashes so often that's it's on the verge of not being usable. This is very sad - MPE used to be such a good software - now I need to look for an alternative if it's not solved in the next update.

How are ypou connecting to the phone? USB? Wifi? Bluetooth? If USB, try using wifi.
You blame MPE for maybe "... using some interface or resource, that Windows 10 does not allow to share with other apps ..". Have you tried a clean install of W10? If you do, then just install MPE and Outlook and try a sync. If it works try installing other apps until it fails - if it does.
As I've said, I use MPE on a W10 machine with Outlook and have NO crashes.

Have ypu tried all/any of the suggestions above? Can you answer any of the questions posed?

I'm using Wifi. Worked fine on Vista and Windows 7. I have no means & time to do a "clean install". I'm a developer myself.
The "sharing resources" idea was only a shot in the blue - I have no idea why MPE is crashing. It crashes half the time I open "Settings", and always when doing a messages folder sync. I have a HTC Desire Eye.
PS: Anyone wishing to debug is welcome to look at my installation using Teamviewer.

For USB I had to enable debugging mode. Just trying to help.
I am also though having the sync abort since anniversary edition. Takes multiple attempts to sync with outlook 2016. Getting event id 300 messages. I started a separate thread before seeing this one.

Just reinstalled 1.8.7 again. Still the same problem. Cannot finish syncing messages. Always crashes at the end of 5990 messages. Also crashes just opening settings.
Multisync is thus unusable for me. I have to sync every item manually and pray that it finishes. It's the most instable software I have on my Windows 10 PC.
I would really love to help the dev out, but it seems he's ignoring this thread. Does anyone know of a functional alternative?
Once again my setup:
Windows 10
MPE 1.8.7 (newest download)
HTC desire eye, connected over Wifi with fixed IP, or over USB
Outlook 2007
Tried every possible setting, disabling ballons and popups, changing connection... no change.
1.8.8 - Fixed

Installing 1.8.8 just fixed it for me.
Thank you!
MPE 1.8.8 causes bug message OUTLOOK 2016 and crash itself

Same problem as described above. Conflict appears after several synchronization or randomly. It brings popup window from OUTLOOK 2016 that says oulook 2016 must be repaired(outlook not working properly), and if I click ok or yes it will close MPE, but outlook works further normally. Win 10 , outlook 2016 32 bit... MPE 1.8.8

MPE 1.8.8 on Windows 10 - 64 bit.
HTC Desire Eye with Android 5.02 (Lollipop) and HTC Sense 6
MPE client 1.0.43
MPE crashes always during Multi-Sync in messages!
If message download is run manually, then it does not crash.
Someties MPE also crashes when I go into settings.
Is there anything planned to improve stability in Windows 10? Never had any problems in Vista 64 bit.[/img]

Thank You Goran
We have Windows 10 (64bit), Outlook 2010 & 2016 and 2 x Galaxy Note 4s (last of the removable battery models!!) and MPE hung everytime when updating SMS.
I've turned off notifications and it now works (for 3 days so far).
Updated to 1.8.9 - still crashing

After several years and MPE versions, I still get these regular crashes in MPE. I'm on 64bit Windows 10, and MPE is the only application of hundreds that is behaving this way. The newest 1.8.9 is no remedy. Crashes occur mostly when syncing, and I have a feeling it happens when (confirmation) dialogs are opened.
Can this be a 4K monitor display/painting problem, i.e. MPE is calculating bad control positions in forms when they are displayed?
Updated to 1.8.11 - crashing is worse

Has anyone tried MPE on a 4K monitor under Windows 10?
I have a strong feeling this has to do with form resizing.
It's getting so bad that I cannot finish a single sync wihtout it crashing multiple times.
I can upload a screen video if someone needs it.
