I have just bought a NexBox A95X and I have found that I cannot manage it when wired connected directly to ethernet...
I must switch on wi-fi (and disconnect LAN cable or the wi-fi won't work!).
Please add the option to let MPE client answer to LAN too!
PS: the laptop I use for MPE is connected to wi-fi...

Hi guys and thanks for the wonderful software.

When MPE is running on my laptop and connected to my LG G4, I can hover my mouse cursor over the MPE icon in my system tray and a balloon pops up showing me the phones battery level % and signal quality %.

Would it be possible to show the CPU % as well, or instead of the signal quality %?

I may have found out how to force a LAN connection: manually set the remote IP Settings\Connection; then manually start mPE client on the remote!

- I would a systray menu item to toggle share clipboard.
- I would a option to disable "was copied to phone-clipboard" balloon.
- I would sync ThunderBird also in portable mode.

I'm sure to make a donation, as I use your great software since a long time.
The only feature needed is the MMS one.
I know the difficulty to handle that, but it can be a great ehancement as it's possible.
So please ! I want to help and wait for this possibility.

Implement function to search for lost phone. The program already allows the connection to the phone if the Wifi or bluetooth are activated. So it would be interesting to turn on a sound or make the phone vibrate to find it.

Why not simply grab another phone and call yourself?
Oh, and by the way, Google offers this function already, even with GPS detection.

1. MPC disconnects when the computer enters sleep mode and does not reconnect after waking up. Why?

2. In the old versions, the first click on the Tray icon opened the window and another closed. Now it is not. Why?

3.No battery indicator and signal strength indicator on the status bar. They used to be there.

I would like an option to save the contacts in the archive when they are deleted as is the case for the messages.

Any chance you could be induced to carry on Friedhelm Dohman's MPE Ecco build. I was not able to get a key to register the 1.8.8 version before he passed away. I could check with the two US Ecco forums to gauge interest if you need financial support to do this. --Chris Holly

I agree! While sending 30 sms I can continue working with the program. Please send sms in the background.

I have Libre Office. I do not have excel. I am trying to save a readable copy of my sms messages. I can't open it with Excel, Word, or OpenOffice.

Two features we would appreciate having very much are:-

* Device Monitor support for Dual SIM devices (with IMEI/IMSI & Cell ID etc). Plus also reporting of interfaces for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi MAC address, device serial number and build information; most of what is included in About Phone.

* Dual SIM & SMS: to be able to select SIM card when sending a text message also very useful.

Great software which I've now been using for years!

My biggest bugbear is that it takes too long mark a message as read (un-bold). Could this be configurable?

A second request, though probably much harder work, is to implement the full compliment of Unicode.org's Full Emoji List, v5.0

Anyway, for me, message read time would be wonderful

First of all, I want to thank you a lot for this software, I have been using this software for probably 9-10 years now, even on the UIQ3 days at that time, I could not find something similar that really works except "My Phone Explorer".

I do wish to have some new features:

1- Add support to multi SIM or dual SIM, including signal, data & other sections.

2- Add support to 4G, which shows 4G connections, probably on the status bar.

3- Add support to control the phone screen when connecting using Wi-Fi.

4- Add a button in contacts list to check & show repeated numbers under different contacts (for example to merge or delete)

5- Add the ability to split a contact into many especially when the contact has many numbers.

6- Add the ability to list contacts with repeated numbers under the same contact in order to remove the unnecessary. This should check the formats of the phone numbers.

Probably one or more requested features are already discussed.

I hope these are acceptable and looking forward to seeing them in a next version.

MPE Notes: Is there a way to have sub-categories and sub-sub-categories, etc? If not, I would make that a feature request.

I think this request will be easy to accomplish and beneficial.

Under "Confirmation for Sync" one is syncing contacts between phone and computer (Thunderbird in my case). Your choices are things like:

Create new entry in Thunderbird
Delete entry in phone
Never sync this entry in future

Can we have an option: "Skip this one entry for now/Just this one time"?

That way we can continue the sync, then have an opportunity to go back and edit stuff, before re-syncing? Sometimes I get pretty far into the sync and find a problem I want to fix, but don't want to abandon the work I have already done.

When I am connected to the mobile using Wi-Fi and for any reason the connection is dropped, I need to restart the app on mobile then re-connect. I hope this could be fixed to keep the connection live.

When the app is active on mobile and I start MyPhoneExplorer it connects to the mobile automatically. I do wish that even when MyPhoneExplorer is open to connect to the mobile when it is available, at least one mobile to be defined.

Also to add a feature to make the mobile app always live or active and listen to MyPhoneExplorer.
