Made such software myself... I like it =) Only two problems - or I use my programm and light is on or I use MPE... And the second is that when keypad locked on the phone and my program in "key_locked" mode and someone calls me the sound is off... But I am thinking how I can solve this problem.

When I browsing phone or dialing and my software is in the "key_unlock" mode then the light is on and no problems with current tasks on phone.

Is it possible to mark the all day events within the inbuilt calendar? They currently don't even show in the monthly view.

Thanks again for this great software. :)

Its not a question of time - its the question when SE will add an interface for this in the next models. So write to SE and not to me.
But MMS HomeStudio CAN work with MMS.
Please, add this feature. It will be great !!!

And how about interface for plugins, it's possible?

@Quasar: Before you write in bold red letters - think about what you are writing.

The MMS-Homestudio creates a MMS-Template and sends it as file to the phone (*.tpl). Not more and not less. There is no way to download saved MMS from the phone.

I don't think that i'll make a Plugin-Interface. Much work but no usable Plugin-Ideas.

Me and my wife both have the same phone, and would like to be able to enter one calendar event and then have it sync to both phone calendars. Is it possible to do this without using any outside calendar, simply with MPE?

Just use a native *ics-File and sync both phones with it.

Sorry, there is no way to read out the MMS-massages. AFAIK there exists no software which is able to do this.

FJ did you think about the SMS thread view feature?

I have planned to add it in one of the next updates, the problem is that i have to distribute a new libraray that the "Chat-Window" looks good. I don't want to add more depencies to MyPhoneExplorer - but i'll try to find a better way.

Couldn't you include it in the distribution package?

BTW: Yesterday I've used my K800 for the first time to download emails.
As the K800 misses the option to leav a copy of email messages on the server, it would be nice to let MPE to copy phone emails to your PIM (Outlook, Outlook express, blablabla).....

I could add it. But if you would read my post then you would know why i don't want to do this.

Email-Access is in general not possible - sorry.

You mean you have to pay royalties to add a third-party software library?
Without modifing much your code you could, in "conversation view":
(assuming you have current MPE SMS listview, with sender, message and time columns)

1) set to bold the beginner of the conversation, only on first message, leave background color as usual (column: from/to)
2) all the other fileds "from/to" in conversation could have a white background
3) slightly indendent following messages in conversation (both columns "from/to" and "Message", leading the message with a "- " char ,and giving two levels indent for sender and phone owner

Example:
MyGirlFriend - Where are you?
......You - At home
...MyGirlFriend - Dinner tonite?
......You - Pub?
...MyGirlFriend - Ok, 9PM
......You - Seeya
MyBoss - Where are you?
......You - At home
...MyBoss - Meeting at 9PM !!!

It looks ugly but gives an idea. I had to drop some '.' to make indentation possible...

At last, give possibility to show conversations by sender or by time...

New Feature Request: Auto set profile on connect/disconnect

I think a nice feature would be the ability to configure MPE to automatically set a profile when it connects / disconnects from a phone.

I know you can run a command line / shortcut to set the profile but I find that's a little bit clunky (I have 2 shortcuts on my desktop instead of 1 etc.).

This approach will not be perfect as I have to remember to disconnect MPE before unplugging my phone from the USB cable - but I should be doing that anyway :o)

Thanks for all your work,

Jon

I second the idea from JonS.

Automatically switching profiles would be great. I guess though you would have to 'eject' the phone from MPE so it can switch profiles back.

Currently I just unplugging the phone from USB & go.

Cheers
Alistair

I often heart this idea, but MPE cannot switch back the profile if you just unplug the phone. The most users do it this way so its senseless
