It depends which features are supported by your phone.
"ForceEventsBefore1970" can be used f.e. for the K800i - it means that the phone supports Events with a beginning-time before 1970

When receiving an SMS message - could it be possible to have another option where only the senders name/number is revealed? (Not the entire message)

Will it be possible to change the profiles from the tray menu?

Do you really think its so much important that it should become a place in the tray ?

Please take a look at the commandlines of myphoneexplorer. You can change the profile also automatical with a link to MyPhoneExplorer with parameters.

I'm sorry, I read it, but I forgot it. But I'm an little bit a computer loser. All I know about computers I learned from the internet and by thinking logical. But because of this I'm intersted to learn more. So today, I learn how commandline parameters works (just not the fine, but it's the begin)

Hehe - i didn't knew this. Commandline-Parameters are the oldest control-possibility for executables. Normally its used as "Start-parameters" - to start an exe with diffrent configurations. In MyPhoneExplorer it is used also during MyPhoneExplorer is already running. Just start again MyPhoneExplorer with the parameters.

Step by Step:
- copy the desktoplink of MPE
- rightclick the copy of the link and choose properties
- you'll see the path to MyphoneExplorer in the appearing window.

Change

C:\Programs\MyPhoneExplorer\MyPhoneExplorer.exe

to

C:\Programs\MyPhoneExplorer\MyPhoneExplorer.exe action=setprofile profile=2

The space after the .exe is important.

I talked with some developers and i read many technical information about the interface to phones from SE. There is no way to read out the mms on a SE.

Its not a question of time - its the question when SE will add an interface for this in the next models. So write to SE and not to me.

Missed call balloon tip

It will be great when I missed a call, MPE will show a balloontip like the sms. Will this be possible?

Synch Notes and Tasklist

I've noticed that my k800 manages notes and tasks. Are there any plans about synching that data from Outlook?

Tasks are synced.
Its not possible to access the notes from the phone, so its also not possible to sync them with outlook.

My mobile - sonyericsson k790i, usb connection, MPE 1.5.9, windows XP-sp2. First of all - my regards for this software, MPE is much-much better then the SE soft which icluded on cd with phone.

I found very interesting feature in MPE - Extras - phone-keypad. It works with my phone correctly.

My request. I want two new options in menu
1) always light when the keypad locked
2) always light when the keypad unlocked
How to do it? Simple:
1) every 4 seconds must be pushed the button + or - on the Extras phone-keypad, it power-on light
2) every 15 seconds must be pushed the button B (back) on the Extras phone-keypad, it power-on light
Why I need this?
1) to see the time:

without feature and with feature

2) to see what has happening on the phone



It's easy to do for developers of MPE. But I don't know if it is interesting for you, but I hope so.
My previous phone was siemens and there the light was on always when phone was plugged to usb-cabel, it was made by the patch of siemens software. There are no pathes for se, so my only hope for MPE!

I dont think this feature would be clever. MyPhoneExplorer should not take control about the phone himself. It would be not possible to dial a phonenumber via phonekeypad or to browse throught the phones settings cause MyPhoneExplorer presses every few seconds a button.

It isnt possible cause MyPhoneExplorer will press the Return-Button while dialing or brwosing. If there would be a way to find out if the phone is in standbymode - then i could check this before pressing, but AFAIK there is no command for this.
