Ich hätte eine Frage bezüglich der SMS-Verwaltung:

Und zwar wenn ich die Nachrichten synchronisiere wird mir angezeigt, dass die Nachrichten vom Handy auf den PC geladen werden. Doch ist der Ladevorgang beendet, tauchen die SMS nirgendwo im Phone Explorer auf!? Mache ich was falsch oder funktioniert dieses Feature noch nicht? Benutze übrigens ein W960i über USB.

Welche MyPhoneExplorer-Version verwendest du ?

Die aktuellste 1.6.6.

Das Programm stockt auch kurz nach dem Abgleich und es wird kurz "Keine Rückmeldung" von Vista gemeldet...

Problem hat sich erledigt! Ich habe jetzt mal sämtliche SMS vom Handy gelöscht, da es schon beim wiederaufspielen mit der SE PC Suite nach einem Firmwareupdate Probleme gab!

Als ich da versucht habe die SMS wieder auf´s Handy zu spielen, brach er immer kurz vor Schluss mit einer Fehlermeldung ab, die SMS waren aber trotzdem auf dem Handy. Vermutlich war dadurch eine Fehlerhafte Datei auf dem Handy, die nicht gelesen werden konnte!

Kann es sein, dass das Herunterladen von gesendeten SMS mit meinem w950i und der neuesten Version von MPE nicht funktioniert? Posteingang funktioniert problemlos...

Ich wollte hier auf diesem Wege einfach nur mal kunde geben, dass dieses Programm einfach super ist und ich schon voller Vorfreude auf die UIQ Version bin.

Ja, ich kanns auch kaum noch erwarten ein vernüftiges Programm zu meinem P1 zu bekommen. Ich hoffe es dauert nicht mehr lange, warte aber geduldig...........

habe das Programm auch gerade ausprobiert.
In erster Linie ging es mir darum meine SMS zu sichern.
Der Posteingang wurde zwar komischerweise nur bis zum 14.02 ausgelesen und der Gesendete Ordner überhaupt nicht, aber vielleicht lag es ja auch an der Menge. Waren jeweils so 1200 SMS, also im Posteingang und Gesendet Ordner. Ansonsten siehts echt gut aus.

zunächst auch von mir: Geniales Produkt!
Und: Schön daß Du den Freeware Gedanken hegst, denn nicht jeder kann sich komerzielle Produkte leisten, aber jeder, der ein paar Euro übrig hat, sollte in jedem Fall spenden, soviel wie er sich halt leisten kann. Ich habe (leider) auch eins der vermaledeiten Symbians (P990i) und könnte kot..n wenn ich die Software sehe die es dafür gibt und was das Ganze dann auch noch kosten soll. (Kauf ich mir lieber ein anderes Handy, ist auf Dauer billiger!)

Nun zum Punkt.

Ich unterstütze Deine Bemühungen den MPE Symbian fähig zu machen voll und bin beim Surfen im Netz auf folgende Seite mit einem Symbian SDK gestoßen: http://www.newlc.com/Symbian-Connect-QI-SDK.html

Vielleicht ist das ja etwas was Du verwenden kannst, um die SE Suite nicht mehr zu benötigen und alle Funktionen zu implementieren.

Ich kenne mich nicht so gut mit der Materie aus, aber das SDK scheint eine COM Schnittstelle zu bieten, und genau das wäre für Dich ja der Idealfall, da Du Dich nicht mehr um Symbian Spezifika kümmern müsstest.

Der aktuelle MyPhoneExplorer (der auch fürs P990i teilweise funktioniert) verwendet bereits die angesprochenen COM-Schnittstelle für den Dateitransfer. Für Adressbuch und Organizer muss ich SyncML implementieren. Es wird funktionieren - ist nur ein riesen Haufen Arbeit bis das alles läuft.

Was ich anbieten kann ist, daß ich in unregelmäßigen Abständen mit dem SE990i (und anderen Handys) und MPE teste und hier vom Erfolg/Mißerfolg berichte. Hilft bestimmt auch weiter.

Nun zum aktuellen Problem:
Ich connecte über USB Kabel mit dem PC (das ist das mimimum was gehen sollte, bevor man über Dinge wie Bluetooth spricht).
Ich nutze den MPE 1.6.6 mit DebugUpdate, habe aus den PCSuite den mrouter3installer und den scruntimesetupxx installiert.
Connect funktioniert einwandfrei, aber beim Sync der Dateien erhalte ich 2x die Fehlermeldung: SE 990i is not connected to SCOM!

Woran kann es liegen, wo hänge ich fest?

Laut Fehlermeldung hat mRouter das P990i nicht erkannt. mRouter müsste auch im Systray liegen und da kannst du nachsehen ob es erkannt wurde.

Bitte beachte dass es meistens ein Weilchen dauert bis mRouter das Gerät erkennt nach dem Anstecken.

Ich habe gerade den ganzen Thread gelesen. Gibt es schon wieder etwas neues? Ich bin W960-User, kann kaum warten, und bereit zu bezahlen Ich werde jetzt mal beta-testen...

Debug version from 5 March (I think it was from that day), downloaded about an hour ago, of course works perfect with my SE K850, but also my P1i handled a few things gracefully.

It downloaded all my SMS (in and out), as always with no time info for the outgoing msgs. Other than that I don't think it could do anything else, sadly.

My German is only so-so, which means I can't read all the details of the compatability progress here.

Is SMS still the only thing that works with the P1i/Symbian phones? I tried xxx on other things, but it only gave me OBEX errors or failed connections.

Worth noting is that my system is setup like this:

Toshiba P200-14U Laptop Core2Duo 7200, 2 GB RAM
Vista Business
Toshiba Bluetooth (the testing above was with BT).
Will test with USB another day.
Two full installations of SE PC Suite (for both the P1i and the K850).

For getting the Date/Time info off the Sent SMS/MMS, I think it would be worth your time to look at the two programs BestMessageStorer and SMSDiary. Both those work with the P1i and they manage to get the correct info when exporting the messages off the phone.

BestMessageStorer offers to save the file as .csv, which is quite handy for use in Excel.
SMSDiary on the other hand creates a pretty nice-looking html wih the messages in a thread-like readable way.

I don't want to create client-applications which have to run on the phone. MyPhoneExplorer should be able to work with native UIQ3-Phones so your links are not helping in my case.

Wäre wirklich SUPER wenn du es schaffen würdest für das SE P1i eine Lösund finden würdest. Wäre mir natürlich auch eine grosszügige Spende wert. Denn ich vermisse dein Programm sehr, und ich hoffe wirklich, dass in absehbarer Zeit eine Lösung online sein wird.
