Task dates differ by one day, priorities mixed
Task dates differ by one day, priorities mixed
Date bug:
When viewing tasks in MPE Tasks App on Android phone Start and Due dates are always one day early. Example: I've created a task with the Due date of Nov 12 (11/12/2011). On the task screen it shows as 11/11/2011. Interestingly enough if I touch the field a new pop-up screen comes up showing Nov 12, 2011, which is correct. I'm in PST (GMT-8).
Priority bug:
Tasks show "Low" priority for "Normal" priority tasks in Outlook 2010. Changing priority to "Low" in Outlook makes it "Normal" in MPE Tasks! "High" priority works correctly.
Thanks.

Phone dates wrong

I have exactly the same problem. I am using version 1.8.2 and client 1.0.14.
Here is more detailed information. If I click the start and/or stop date, the CORRECT date appears in the setting screen. If I then click SET, the task shows the correct date and continues to show the correct date.
If I re-synchronize with the incorrect date showing, the re-synchronization does NOT change either Outlook or the phone. The phone continues to show the correct date. If I click and correct the incorrect phone date and then re-synchronize, Outlook does not change and the phone continues to show the correct date.
These facts lead me to believe that the incorrect date is a DISPLAY problem in the client and that the correct information is, in fact, being synced.
On the other hand, the priority bug seems to be a real synchronization bug. A task added in Outlook with a Normal priority shows up in the phone as a Low priority. If the Low priority in the phone is changed to Normal and re-synchronized, it shows up as Low in Outlook.

Task Date Off by One Day
I installed a new client using the link provided by FJ, but I still have the same problem with task dates. For tasks that already existed when I installed MPE, the due date is off by one day. When I look at the task, it says today, but when I click to change the date, the calendar that comes up shows yesterday, and the task sorts that way. I just synced with Outlook, and the tasks in Outlook look fine. Is it a time zone issue?

If in MPE, I set the due date to none, save, then set the due date to a value, the date shows and sorts correctly. If I set a due date to none in Outlook, sync, then set the due date to a value in Outlook and sync again, the date still does not show or sort correctly. Further, if a due date works correctly in MPE, then I change the date in Outlook and sync, the due date in MPE again does not show or sort correctly. This is a great program, but this issue has me stymied. Thanks if you can help.
Disable the new Outlook interface and try again:
- Start-Run-%appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\general.ini-OK
- a textfile should open, add a new line directly below [Main]: UseOutlookObjectModel=1
- save the file
- do the sync
