I'm about to switch from the Samsung Galaxy S (aka AT&T Captivate) running 2.1 to a new Motorola Atrix running 2.2. All my contact and calendar data is sync'd to my Outlook Desktop using the USB cable. I also have my contacts exported to my removable SD card just in case that I will swap into the new device.
Will migrating the data from my Outlook Desktop to the Atrix device be fully supported by your existing desktop and the App I'll hopefully be downloading onto the Atrix from the Android Marketplace?
Shall I expect any issues?
Thanks.

Re: Motorola Atrix Froyo 2.2 Support
I've been working on getting this working with a Motorola Atrix today. got hung up on installing the ADB Interface driver but found a utility at motorola that took care of the problem for me.F jahandari hat geschrieben:I'm about to switch from the Samsung Galaxy S (aka AT&T Captivate) running 2.1 to a new Motorola Atrix running 2.2. It may be easier to google "Motorola 4.9.0 Driver with MotoHelper".
I'm having an issue with my calendar events being one day off when sync'ed to the phone and working on that one now.
Good luck!
Re: Motorola Atrix Froyo 2.2 Support
I stumbled over this app and must say it is working very well with the Motorola Atrix.
I use a separate .PST file for Contacts in Outlook, since I can easily move this file between home, work, and several mobile phones. Most apps have an issue where the will only sync with the default "contacts" folder - this is an issue, but My PhoneExplorer allows the selection of the data file so this is good.
I only have two issues right now, and they are not showstoppers:
1) Favorites/Categories are not supported.
2) If I update the Image in a contact in outlook, MyPhoneExplorer does not see the change - I need to delete the entry from MyPhoneExplorer and resync. No big deal.
So far great tool - love it!

Thanks for the reply. It seems to be impacting "All Day Events" only. They show correctly in Outlook and on the phone when sync'ed, but are one day early when viewed in the MPE desktop.FJ hat geschrieben:Do you have the diffrence only for allday-events or also for normal events. Do you have it only for ruled events or also for non-ruled ones ?
I see another topic going with this same discussion so I'll check in there in order to keep the discussion focused.
Thanks!

Hi guys i would like to know after rooting will i be able to install application by using sideloader coz a friend of mine after upgrading and rooting the phone was not able to install application downloaded from market, will rooting cause a such a problem with my phone too.
And after rooting the phone will I need to reinstall all apps, re-setup all the different configurations I've set (ringtones, message tones, etc.)? I want to get root, but not if it means i have to spend countless hours (again) on getting my phone how I want it.
I would also like to know is there any call recorder app compatible with motorola atrix coz there is no such built in app for the phone and i want to install one for my phone if available through market.
