MPE Sgrid run time error 440 then run time error 372

I used to run MPE on WinXP without issue. Now I have upgraded to Win7 I get issues on a regular basis, I send a lot of text messages a day and the problem is now happening every 2-3 days. The only resolution is to reboot which is a pain.

I have looked for other cases of this online and the most recent advice is to run MPE in WinXP compatibility mode - which I have done but still getting the same problem.

Has anyone else got the same problem and resolved it?

Its a problem which happens from time to time also on my PC. I did not found a way to prevent it, it works again if log off and then log on in windows

I think that you might need to update your SGrid control in your distribution or find an alternative, I have found many references to this OCX failing under later versions of Windows.

There exists no update for SGrid, to find a alternative is hard cause near every list in MPE is based on SGrid, alot of lists and really alot of work

I have exactly the same problem here: 440 + 372 errors!
I unistalled MyPE, deleted its folder in %appdata%, installed as portable... but the problem isn't gone.
Last thing to do is restart the system
but actually I can't...
