Aspell deletes misspelled words

Hi
I'm experiencing some wierd behaviour from aspell. While typing a text message, the misspelled words sometimes get deleted automatically, which is pretty annoying, as "haha", abbreviations and other chat-lingo spellings just disappears.

Anyone else experiencing this behaviour?

I will try it. The behaviour appears to be random, so reproduction might be difficult, but what seem to trigger it is long text messages with many "red words"
