Hi Franz,
I'm still using MPE with other apps like FMA or XTND Connect, just to compare features between them.
I don't know if you have allready started developing import of Outlook/Exchange contacts, nevertheless I've noticed that other apps have different beheaviours when importing data from Outlook: in some cases some Outlook fields are ignored, in some cases data is truncated.
My question is: is there a rigid field scheme into the phone (I'm using a k800) or some constraints persist?
For example in Outlook the contact has a "Note" text field that appears truncated into the phone when imported.... Also when using long company names, they're often truncated.
Do you know if there's a maximum lenght for each filed in the phone contact? |

Yes there are limitations of the diffrent fields:
Name: 30 chars
phone-number: 40 chars
Note: 50 chars
Adressfields: 24-25 chars
...
A betaversion for Outlook is avaiable - please check the first pinned thread in the german supportforum |

Downloaded...... any known "dangerous" bug? Like unwanted contact deletion upon synching? |

There is no dangerous bug - but its possible that you find some dangerous bug. So please make a backup from Outlook and phone before you test the new beta |
