K750i - cannot connect with MPE
Connection fails when trying to connect through BlueTooth.
I get the message "No device found". If I connect through the windows BlueTooth explorer, or the MPE USP cable, it works fine.
WinXP
Bluetooth by HP: Latest drivers
COM10 Bluetooth-Port
Baudrate: 256000
OBEX Packetsize: 4096
Phone: K750i
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
PS. Great program!

Hi Guest,
have you ever had a working connection to MPE with Bluetooth?
I don't know HP Bluetooth software, but with others it's necessary to start a virtual COM-port, then pair PC and phone.
If all doesn't work, maybe the OBEX-Server in your phone is hanging.
Try to remove accu for above one minute, then restart your phone, go to settings in MPE and click on "Search device".
And if it's not working at all, please post the first 10 lines of your DEBUG.TXT. You will find this file in the program folder.

Does this mean it's working with the windows integrated Bluetooth software? If so, try to disable one of both (HP or Windows). If I connect through the windows BlueTooth explorer...

More problems with k750i
Firstly, I would just like to thank you for all the development and hard work you have put into this FREE program. It really is appreciated.
Now, I am having some problems with MPE 1.3.3 and my k750i.
1) when I transfer sms data from my phone to MPE archive I get information loss. For example part of my message will be deleted.
2) I cannot get MPE to connect to my phone through a BlueTooth connection on my Presario X1000. I can however connect to the phone through the standard 'BlueTooth Explorer' in Windows.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi dGoaT,
Hope i could help you?
please try to decrease the OBEX Packetsize and try again if the SMS are not completed.when I transfer sms data from my phone to MPE archive I get information loss. For example part of my message will be deleted
have you activated the service "serial COM-port"? In Windows' Bluetooth stack you will have to use the "outgoing" port.I cannot get MPE to connect to my phone through a BlueTooth connection on my Presario X1000. I can however connect to the phone through the standard 'BlueTooth Explorer' in Windows
Hope i could help you?
