Nokia 6230i

Beitrag von harrym1byt »

Hi,

Hope someone here understands English?

I have installed MyPhoneExplorer, it looks impressive - except I cannot get it to work properly...

It connects to the phone via bluetooth. I can download the SMS messages from the phone, but if I try to look at anything else - contacts, calls list, dialled calls list, it complains of...

'OBEX protocol could not be initialised!'

I see the bluetooth listed on com 16 and com 17, could this be the reason?

The 'Compatibility List' suggests it works with many different makes and models and lists the 6230i as being compatible.

Do you mean this list from my Homepage ?
MyPhoneExplorer is basicly compatible with all Phones from SonyEricsson except P800i, P900i and P910i. Besides this there exists a few Low-Cost-Phones (f.e. T200i) which does not have a PC-Interface. If you are using a Symbian-Phone from SE please note: Its needed to install the PC-Suite first and the connection with MyPhoneExplorer is only possible throught USB-Cable.
I don't think it suggests that is compatible with other brands.

http://myphoneexplorer.en.softonic.com/ ... le-devices

Click on the drop down for a list of makes it supports, then on the make and it lists the supported models.

OK, not a problem.

I came across that article first, which led me to seek out your sotware.
