Thunderbird

I recently upgraded to version 1.7.0 and did the same for Firefox (3.0.1) and Thunderbird (3.0a1). I now have problems with the synchronization.
It seems that the extension cannot be installed. I receive this message:
"MyPhoneExplorer" will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates.

Any help available?

To be more specific: I will start working on the address book support for thunderbird 3 when the first beta is released, because the address book API is still being worked on.

A further problem is that there is currently no working version of lightning for Thunderbird 3.

Actually, there is, just not on the previous location - might be something with the fact that lightning/sunbird is now officially being compiled by Mozilla servers just like TB, FF, ...

I'm using ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/calendar/ligh ... m-central/ as of now on my Shredder nightly, and it works like a charm.

Me too, I have been using Thunderbird 3 beta 1 and 2 for the last months without any problem, and the latest lightning 1.0 pre versions work better than ever..
Now, if only I could get syncing again

hey! could you say something about the progress?
my thunderbird & mobilephone calender & adressbook need a synchronization so urgently!

TB 3b2 works so fine with actual lightning 1 nightly, so i don´t realy think that big changes will be coming.

Sorry, the API of the adressbook is still in flux. As of b3, the promised UUID is still missing and the addition of further fields is discussed.

As I am currently short of time, I beg for your understanding that I do not want to support this moving target.
