New notes lost

Just installed MPE 1.3.3 (K700i, XP)
I saw the possibility to edit notes in the program.
But when I edit a note or create a note, on MPE program exit this information is lost.

Is this normal?
What can be done to have the new info stick?

Hi FJ, Is there any chance to 'Edit note' in V1.6.7? I have 'New note', only. I am using K800i.
