Hi,
I've just upgraded MyPhoneExplorer to version 1.6.4 and noticed there is a new button "Plalist".
I presume this button is used to create a playlist on a SE mobiles.
I am using a K800i and I tried to create a playlist using this feature but have not been able to do anything at all.
Has anyone used this "Playlist" feature to create a playlit for K800i before?
Many thanks in advance. |

I developed this feature using my K800i as Testdevice. Some questions:
- after you created the Playlist - can you see a file with extension m3u in MemoryStick/Music with the filebrowser in MyPhoneExplorer
- is the music-folder on your Memorystick lowercase or wordcase ? (music or Music) |

Hi FJ,
Many thanks for your response. I must apologize for my stupidity and ignorance.
I guess I did not try smart enough yesterday I just had another go and it worked like a charm!!!!! It is EXCELLENT!!!! I could create playlists without a problem.
I didn't try to drag and drop the songs into the box underneath the playlist name. I was assuming that after I give the playlist a name, somehow there will be an "add" icon that I can click and select the songs into the playlist. I tried right xxx on the playlist name which ofcourse did not work. Why didn't I think of just drag and drop!
I saved my test playlist and it shows up in the music folder. I've got Media Monkey installed and if I double clikc on my recently created playlist it plays automatically in Media Monkey! This is great!!!!!
I like listening to music with my K800 and I've got loads of songs loaded and all this time I'm exasperated creating playlists on the K800 and this feature is a STAR!
One question though, can MPE displays the playlists created within K800's media player?
Thank you very much, I love your MPE software! |

You can view and edit playlists created with MyPhoneExplorer. The phones-playlists are not accessible from external software |

Yes, I tried it yesterday. It's great! It is unfortunate the built-in media player is not accessible via external software. I think SE should make some sort of plugin to allow access to it. Having lots of playlists on the music folder can be quite a mess
Thanks! |
