Not sure if it's a local issue or what. Since the issue occurs on 2 different devices and 2 different phones, I thought I would ask the forum for similar experiences.
Instance #1 (PC) - Phone client started (4.10), Computer version 2.3, syncing with Outlook 2021 MSO, Win11 (KB5083769) (26200.8246)
Instance #2 (laptop) - Phone client started (4.10), Computer version 2.3, syncing with Outlook 2021 MSO, Win11 (KB5083769) (26200.8246)
In both cases, either the sync starts and stalls on one of the sync phases or stalls right at the beginning. 'Stall' means the busy cursor appears. After waiting for ever, I need to kill the process. Task Manager initially shows some activity, but soon shows none. Tried computer restart: same outcome.
Last window update was on April 15th on both devices.
Anybody else ?

Please install => MPE beta version , that should fix the problem.
