issues on phone contacts sync

Hi!

Since previous versions to the latest, I've seen an issue while contact sync. Looks like, they don't merge correctly, or even duplicates appear on both PC and phone. My most common issue is when contacts appear on the phone, but not on PC. I'm using MyPhoneExplorer default contact list at office and Outlook's at home.

I didn't chage anything in the contactsync since version 1.6.2. But anyway how does it show up ? Tries MyPhoneExplorer to delete the Outlook-contact and create a identical in Outlook or wants MyPhoneExplorer to make duplicates on both sides ? More info please

Since the last time I used MPE I added some new contacts or did edit them. The most of them are contacts who changed their phone number.

Today, I did a sync but now with Bluetooth with MPE and changes done on my phone didn't affect MPE contact list. If after this first sync I do a minor change to the contact: eg. add a period at the end of the name, then this change does affects my MPE contact list.

And btw, looks like Outlook (using Sony Ericsson PC Suite) is the one who duplicated my phone edited contacts after I added the bluetooth functionality to my PC.

I was away from my computer for a month and did update my contact list using the phone. Today I'm trying to sync using bluetooth I didn't have before. I was using USB on the past.

If the problem is between Phone and MPE and not between MPE<> Outlook then it mostly helps to load a fresh copy of the contacts in MyPhoneExplorer. Just use the green button besides the sync-button for this.

ok... you mean "Download Entire"...

ok... it's working fine. Thanks. it looks like Outlook and MPE have different ways to recognize the latest updated contact.

but, well, now it works.
