After somehow losing all my calendar entries in my phone I then managed to accidentally download my empty phone calendar to my PC (thinking I was doing the opposite). Where is the calendar data stored on the PC so that I can try to find a backup of it from file history?

Oh, I've just found it. It's organizer.dat and I didn't have it included in my file history backup. Does that mean I've lost my calendar entries for good?!
Probably yes
Do you have any other backup made with Menu-Extras-Create backup?
Or another place of data like Outlook?

Unfortunately not. I had hoped that I might be able to find a cache file with the calendar entries but I think I might have exhausted all options.

Please look: MPE => F2 => Sync => Create sync logs
If this function was activated, you should find your appointments in an HTML file.
You can import these into MPE.
