I wanted to print my full MPE with Open Office. When I open the contacts list from my Note9 android phone with the MPE it works well but the Notes that I add to my individual contacts on the phone (under Notes), NOT the Notes column under Organizer / Calendar, it does not input anything in the columns so it can be printed. I can actually see the notes I have saved in my individual contacts when I hold the mouse over the Contact's name. In other words, it is in the file but does not print and I would have to look at each contact with MPE to see what my notes are pertaining to that individual. Is there a way to put the Notes column under one of the userdefined columns and rename that column? When I tried that nothing shows when I went to print so I assumed those columns are setup to be numerical only?? |

You can print the addresses via the context menu (right mouse button) of the contact list = Print . The information field should also be printed out.
The field is not supported when transferring via MPE = Extras = Current list... |

Thanks so very much for your fast response. I am unclear as to your reference to the context menu. Is this when I have MPE phone app open or when MPE is open on my laptop? I understand what you are saying about use rt mouse button but not sure if that is in one of the drop down menus on the top or right? After also reading Koelner's response I tried opening my full list document with Word instead of Open Office and I see the "Info" column with my "Notes" in it. It does not show that column when opening in the Open Office Program. Would like to add that the edit button above the list column, when the entire contacts list is open, pops up with the individual contact "Info" and I can see now that info is the "Notes" I was looking for. It had not shown this column on the full printable list when opened with Open Office. Apologies if this is not clear and too detailed but it was extremely helpful to get both replies to my dilemma. Many thanks |

Thank you so very much for responding to my post. I followed your suggestion to use different program to open my full printable Contacts database with success. I tried opening my full list document with Word instead of Open Office and I see the "Info" column with my "Notes" in it. It does not show that column when opening in the Open Office Program. Would like to add that the edit button above the list column, when the entire contacts list is open, pops up with the individual contact "Info" and I can see now that info is the "Notes" I was looking for. Well, it looks like there is a difference between Open Office and Microsoft.
We should ask, what FJ has to say about this. |
