Hello Team,
Having large calendar I would like to keep sync'ed between my
outlook and Android phone, I always neeed to sync entire calendar as current calendar sync rules allow you to sync All, last xx days and furure
or between time range calendar items.
As older calendar entries should normally not change anymore and, to
speed-up sync on large calendars, would it be possible for you to consider adding a check-box to "last xx days and future entries" rule to NOT delete older than XX calendar entries from calendar's phone ?
The only way for me to preserve them is syncing entire calendar ...
Thanks for good job !
Cheers

This wish has been asked very often in the forum.
Unfortunately, this is not possible, at least not with the result that the sync is faster.
I advise you the following:
Create a new calendars for old appointments in Outlook and cell phone and exclude them from the sync

Hello,
Thanks for reply. Unfortunately, creating second outlook calendar is not
possible as "Old" calendar entries are récurrent ones, team meeting or other
shared entries with colles, teams, ... also including MS-Teams invites, ...
Moving them to an alternate calendar will drop/change entries in other calendars or will break recurring events or may even cause meeting updates to be sent ...
Wouldn't it be possible, in section "sync last xxx days and future" to not delete older events ?
Thanks !

TFD hat Folgendes geschrieben: | Wouldn't it be possible, in section "sync last xxx days and future" to not delete older events ? | No, because that would make nothing faster!
It's just the following:
Activate the options...
1. MPE => F2 => Sync => Events and Task / Sync with => Advanced => Time period => Sync all events
2. Compare changed events (faster) |

The sync was increased alot with the last versions.
How many appointments you have in Outlook?
You can also send me the logfile after calendar sync with a link to this thread so i can see how long it takes and which part needed the most time. Menu-File-Settings-Show logfile |

Hello,
Just managed to upgrade to MPE 2.0.
What a difference ! Sync at light speed
FI, my cal has 4000+ Entries.
In a future version, seen new very fast sync process, you could maybe consider adding an old "MS Active-Sync"-like action being when phone is connected to usb/bluetooth/wifi to computer for MPE to automatically sync (customizable mylti-sync) ...
Good job guys !!!
