on my pc I'm running windows 10 with mpe 1.8.9.
On my samsung galaxy s8 I'm running mpe 1.0.70.
In the past when I opened mpe on my pc it would auto connect to my phone but that function has stopped working. Now when I open mpe on my pc I have to manually start mpe on my phone and then it connects. The pc tries to connect to the phone but it won't connect until I manually start mpe on my phone. How can I get auto-connect working again?

I would do the following:
1. Check the settings in MPE Desktop
Menu "File" - "Settings F2" - "Startup Process" - ☑ Connect automatically at startup
Then exit and restart MyPhoneExplorer
2. Upgrade from version 1.8.9 to version 1.8.12 (just install over it)

3. Download and installation of version 1.8.12 nightly 06.03.2020 23:12:22 (just install over it)

I think everything should work again as desired.
If not, then you should specify exactly all the steps that you have carried out and for which it did not work.
