Hi
In 1.4 and 1.4.1 there's a bug/feature that recent call list has "+" sign before all phone numbers. That's not needed |

Hi mikhan,
sure, it's not needed, but it's usual and most of the users are typing in their numbers in international format that way.

I type 7 digits for local numbers and +7xxx...xxx for mobiles
why MPE adds "+" for local numbers? I really don't get it |

Thats a bug, i will fix it
Please refresh your calls and then send me the logfile via e-mail (fj.wechselberger<at>gmx.at). Via email is better as at the forum cause i will see in the logfile the phonenumbers of your calls. |

1.4.3
I still have not needed "+" signs before local numbers
Here is a part of log (I removed numbers and names by * )
Zitat: |
14:15:30.60 [TX]: AT+CPBR=1,30
14:15:30.82 [RX]: AT+CPBR=1,30
14:15:30.82 [RX]: +CPBR: 1,"797****",129,"***","2006/05/22,14:14"
14:15:30.96 [RX]: +CPBR: 2,"8903*******",129,"***","2006/05/20,19:58"
14:15:31.12 [RX]: +CPBR: 3,"8903*******",129,"***","2006/05/20,19:56"
14:15:31.28 [RX]: +CPBR: 4,"8926*******",129,"***","2006/05/20,19:52" |
In MPE I see:
+797*****
+8903*****
etc |

I've tried it out with my own phone. I dialed the number "1234567" and after refresh no "+" was shown. In Version 1.4.3 are only the "+" added if the number contains more than 8 chars. |

Cause the phone doesnt do it. Mostly this numbers are international so the "+" is needed |

That assumption wont be true for UK numbers where typically the format for a std code + local number is:
0nnn nnnnnnn

If a "0" is the first char MPE never adds a "+" |

FJ, I think it should be my decision whether to add "+" or not
If my call list in the phone doesn't have + before numbers then it have to be like this! My phonebook has correct numbers like +7495******* (7 is Russia, 495 -Moscow, 7 digits - phone number) or +7916*******, but my operator (MTS, Beeline etc) identifies numbers e.g. as 8495******* or 8916******* without + (8 is Russian prefix for international or national calls)
So I adding + to numbers like 8495*** is nonsense in MPE |

Its not my plan to add hundrets of buttons so every user has his optimal setting. If you want that - use FMA. I tried to reproduce the "bug" (up to now i never seen this) - on my phone it works with 7-char-numbers without problems (no + is added what your wish were). |

I don't need any button. I just don't understand why MPE adds + before some numbers. What for? |

Oh my god - he doesn't. I tried it about 20 times and ma app didn't add any + before the number. Delete the Calls.dat and refresh your call-list. Its an easy algorythm i use, i cannot believe that on your pc MPE works other than on mine. |
