Syncing from phone to laptop

I've been using MyPhoneExplorer on a Samsung S5 and a Windows 7 laptop with MS Outlook 2013 for a few weeks by now.
It syncs OK from the laptop to the phone but I am unable to sync from the phone to the laptop.

For the calendar, I've set Sync Mode to 'both' but the entries that I make when I'm out don't transfer to my Outlook calendar.

Can anyone help with advice on how I can sync both ways?

Is there really no answer to this question?
I've been checking and re-checking the Settings but it still only syncs as if I had ticked 'Force Outlook'.

Any suggestions, anyone?

On your phone, when you add a calendar event, which calendar is it getting saved in? There should be a setting somewhere which tells you. And is this the same as the calendar you are trying to sync?

In the MPE client, I've ticked under 'Calendars to sync':
My calendar
Samsung calendar
S Planner

The calendar I use as diary on the Samsung is S Planner.

When I enter something in S Planner, it's not synced back to Outlook.
