Setup Options in 1.8.7

I launched the setup app for 1.8.7 and see a pop-up with the title "Setup Options" with the following warning for portable installation:

"The sync with management softwares like Outlook is not possible"

How does this translate into a difference between 1.8.6 and 1.8.7? It sounds like syncing Outlook features like calendar, contacts, notes, etc. is no longer possible. Could someone clarify?

Also, "Some additional features which interact with the system are not available." Like what for example?

Basically, I want to know if I'm going to lose any features or functionality moving from 1.8.6 to 1.8.7.

What I understand this to mean is that if you install the portable version you will not be able to synch with Outlook and some other functions that require interaction with applications not co-hosted on the portable partition / drive.

If you install the full version of MPE all the functionality of version 1.8.6 is available with 1.8.7

Is the "portable version" the same as MPE Client that I already have on my phone with 1.8.6?

It is in 1.8.6. the same like 1.8.7, but without this warning :
