The Outlook Addin is not needed for the sync, its optional.
Please post the logfile after you tried to sync with Outlook or is the entry missing for you in the settings?

I tried everything that has been explained 1, 1a, 1b, 2 etC ..
I guess i did not explain well.

The issue is that MyPhoneExplorer_OutlookAddIn.dll is NOT ANYMORE a valid Office Add-in.

Worst of ...

I already tried 1 and 1a. without success (FYI MSOFFICE 2013 installed on the machine (SONY VAIO DUO 11 WIN8 64 BITS) is a pure legitimate paid MS Entreprise version)

i have also outlook 2013 and it does not work
My mistake : i let MS proceed some updates in May 2013. They block My phone explorer. Basically now The My phone explorer is not anymore recogn ...
