I am using Outlook 2016 and MPE 1.8.8
Occassionally (not with every sync) MPE shows sync with certain persons (Syncing the Kalender) with a new birthday date of 1-1-2037.

Only use for me: multi sync! (MS Outlook 2010 and Galaxy S)
I sync at least once a day: organiser, contacts, notes and messages.
