Leider ist die Mail Don Patrone bei mir, aus welchen Gründen auch immer, im Spamordner gelandet.
Somit hat sich das Problem jetzt geklärt !

Unfortunately, you are right, if I switched my cell phone to the English language, I can reproduce the problem.
Workaround:
You choose the option 'Add to Existing Contact' => + Create contact |

Look in the cell phone : MPE-Client => Settings => Contact-Accounts to Sync
Which contact account is there enable ?
You choose this contact account when saving the contact in WhatsApp.
