Well... my problem remains. I start the client on the phone (see the gray icon), then I start MPE, then I try to sync and get the error that a connection with the IP address is not possible.

Trying a bit more I find that I am able to connect when I start some app that uses the network connection ...

A bit late, but installed the beta (both).

After installing I start the client (gray icon in top) and MPE and press sync. This gives an error:
13:38:43.47 Try connecting to 10.2.2.215 (cached WifiIP)...
13:38:44.78 SocketError: 10061 - Connection is forcefully rejected

13 ...

I can add a log file to this, as I just stumbled upon a similar error:

I have exactly the same problem and I think I even mentioned it somewhere before in this forum. Can you try what happens if, after a failed connect, you leave MPE client on and go browse the internet with your phone. If you have reached a page, try to sync again...

The phone and also MyPhoneExplorer thinks its connected to the router, but the connection is already dropped. In some cases it depends on the Router/AP itself but mostly it helps to keep the mobile awake (there is also a setting for this in MyPhoneExplorer Client)
