I had this problem too, but after i deleted all my contacts in my outlook, and I imported my contacts again from an old backup,I could synchronize my contacts and the error disappeared.
try this, export all contacts to another pst (creating backup)and remove all and try to sync to see if the error ...

finally I got MyPhoneExplorer working :D
the error I had was the obex error, and when i deleted all my contacts from my outlook and then I imported from a backup it worked. finally I got the application working.
is now working on my wireless network (encrypted) and with bluetooth.

I have the beta client on the phone too.
I will waiting for the final release. until there i will be using the 1.8.0 version.
I will use only in my home and if the next final version will work fine i will use in my office too and my other colleagues too.
I loved this application.

now my connection are encrypted but i have a several errors when i try to sync.
if possible can you see the error log and suggest something to fix it?

i think this app are realy great but i found one big problem.
there are no encryption between phone and pc. if I have this application in my pc and my colleagues to, I can sync with their phones when they have the client active in the phone.
I've tried to do with other phone and is possible ...
