I had mentioned about the issue of every alternate message remaining unread. Has this problem been resolved in any of the subsequent Beta builds?
I am using Ver 1.8.3, nightly build from 13-June-2012.

using 01-Jun nightly build (Beta). Seems like every alternate message remains unmarked while reading messages in the Inbox view. However, double xxx on the unread messages successfully marks these as 'Read'.

Beta works for me to resolve the SMS read issue.

MPE is working like magic now. To get rid of the duplicates I used '91 PC suite for android'. The advantage with that s/w is that I can select multiple contacts and then delete them. I was able to get rid of all my 4000 odd duplicates in about 3 hours.

Hi FJ - sorry for the multiple postings today. I was able to run the sync completely once. I hoped that once the contacts sync correctly then I should be able to remove the many duplicates that I have on my phone. However, the second time I tried syncing again, the sync failed.

After trying to use HTC sync (although it failed, not sure why) the Contact Sync actually started. However, I saw MPE 'creating new entry in phone' again, which it seemed to be doing for all my contacts. I downloaded 1.0.6 of the client today and tried the contacts sync again today. Unfortunately, it failed again. The error reads:

Thanks FJ! I have two GMail accounts created on my phone. When I did the sync the first time it copied everything from my google accounts over to the phone, often creating a lot of duplicates. So yeah, I have over 100 contacts on the phone now.
