Well - Samsung is not very fast or very keen to implement this fix.

Is there ANY posibility that you will implement a fix in MPE (like Handcent has done)?

I just bought an Vehicle Dock. Sending SMS from this (talking to the phone) also send SMS twice.

I think it has nothing to do with MPE, but rather the build from Samsung.

Its a known bug of CM9, did the service install a official Samsung update ? I think not, it seems a to be a custom ROM.

The logfile is OK. You see them twice cause the send string is read back, this is protocol specific. AT+CMGS does send the message, AT+CMGW does save it into sent messages

I have gotten my Samsung SII back from service.
After installing everything I now have the problem, that every SMS send from the PC via bluetooth will be recieved twice in the other end.
And I only have one entry.


Sending from the phone sends only one.

I have my phone connected to the computer during working hours.
I connect via Bluetooth.

But the client on the phone shuts down after 15 minutes, if there is no activity.
Can I change that time out or disable it?

I am switching from a HTC Legend which broke to a Samsung Galaxy S II.

Is there something I should be aware of here regarding MPE?

Is there any kind of timeline on this?

Its a little annoying, sinse this is the most used function here.

Exactly the same here.
HTC Legend 2.2.

I uninstalled everything on my PC.
I cleaned all folders, restarted and reinstalled version 1.8.0.

I changed client on phone to version 1.0.6.

Now it all works, excepts I cant send a SMS if it is more than one SMS

Now I cant get any messages from the phone

There is something completly wrong with this version.

Every other time I cant retrieve any SMSes from the phone, eventhough there is SMSes on the phone.

MPE on my PC is version 1.8.0 (newest available).

MPE on my phone is 1.0.7 Beta 17

Phone Is HTC Legend with Android 2.2..
PC is Windows 7, 64 bits.

I have just updated software on PC. Now I am back to the error, where I can't send a SMS which expands over 2 or more.
