Yes, I just told you I found out how to do it. I just thought (and think) one should be able to right click on the date in calendar as well.

Is it really so hard to download and import a holiday-calendar ?


Well yes, since I don't know where to look.


Sometimes i have to protect users fom their own. And you can be sure that i make this decitions. Its helpfully to give inputs how a program can be made better but its not helpfully to ...

- and no, its not a good idea to make it possible to add all holidays from MPE to phone cause much devices can hold only 300 appointments

Also, can it set the type of calendar entry? All holidays get downloaded as "Appointment" where they really should be marked as "Holiday"

I'd like to suggest a way to add all calendar entries in one go, so you don't have to sit and click and many many entries to add them.

Rightclick a holiday an select "Add to calendar" - or similar ;-)
If you want to transfer all holidays of a given year then you can import a holidy-calendarfile. There are many of them in the www

I was right cli c king in the calendar where nothing happens. I hadn't tried right xxx over the text ...

It's very handy MPE can calculate holidays, but can't they be downloaded to the phone?

*sigh* its gmt+1 - but I don't want to share the calendar, and don't have the energy to try and edit it in notepad.
I guess the fault is in the ical file format - my appointment is at 10 - regardless of zone or daylight saving etc.
But I'll edit them manually i guess. Thankfully there aren't that ...

Well no, obviously I'm using the C905 which is why i read this thread.

Well, if the times are correctly wrongly I'm not sure I ever dare use the 'normal' way anymore :-/

The menu has 9 choices, and "control phone" is not one of them.

Sorry, but have to ask - when I import (from an ics) file future appointments change based on summertime - is this correct?

Let me try and explain:


If I go in to the Windows XP time setting, there is a tab called "Time Zone", and there is a setting called "Automatically adjust clock for daylight ...

Can we install paths to external apps? So that it can open with OpenOfficePortable (MPE doesn't discover it since it isn't "installed" the normal way)

There isn't a way to delete the calender in myphoneexplorer only right?
You have to delete the Organizer.dat file?

Its impossible to find a time setting which covers all the time period, if some of it is correct other parts are wrong.

It would be nice if MyPhoneExplorer had a function to adjust the time of large groups of appointments.

Ie you could adjust the start end ...
