What do you think of DES ?

DES by itself is no longer considered secure which is why they now have AES to replace it. The main problem with DES is its small key size. If you use TripleDES however that is still quite secure.

RC2 is vulnerable to a related-key attack, see:

Yes, it was the PC-Suite that put the notes on the phone in the first place (sync from Outlook)

Is there anything else you would like me to try? I think the # of notes on the phone has been maxed out. Should I try deleting one and trying again or what do you suggest to try and debug this problem?

That is the log file from when I press "Download entire" in the toolbar.

Every once in a while I lose my sync connection to my phone and when that happens there is no real way to abort the sync with MyPhoneExplorer. You just keep having to click and click and click until all the failed transfers time out.

It would be great if there was a button to abort the sync so ...

When using MyPhone Explorer 1.7 or the new 1.7.1 in Windows Vista 64bit I keep getting this error when I try to download the Notes from my W810i or when trying to use the Outlook Notes sync.

This happens all the time, even if I reset the phone, reboot the computer, or whatever. I believe it also ...
