Proxy with authentication used to work fine here, but after changing the password it will not work anymore. I removed the entries in the .ini that harvested the username+password. Now I only get:

"Loading entries from Google failed!
999 HTTPSendRequest failed; SystemError: 12057 []"

IE has no ...

@Khosrow: Are you sure ? I just tried it with the same build and it works
@Guillaume: Nice idea - but senseless. Its not possible to read earlier delivery-reports.
- The come in in "realtime" - when MyPhoneExplorer is connected.
- when MyPhoneExplorer is connected to phone then the message was ...

Hmmz, just a thought: does a delivery report have a timestamp? Perhaps that timestamp could be used to set one for the corresponding message in sent items (as currently there is no way to retrieve the original timestamp of sending). Would be great for archiving.

(disclaimer :P: my provider doesn't ...

Really sorry to bother you with this, but could you please instruct me on what I should do?

I found out actually that when I now insert an item in a Google Calendar that's set to time zone GMT+1, the item gets its own timezone attribute in the ics:
BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTART;TZID=Australia/Sydney ...

To be more specific, I think the following is going on:

MyPhoneExplorer sends the entries I made in my phone to Google Calendar with the local - Australian - times (I don't know if it sends a timezone attribute with it as well, but that doesn't really matter)
IF MyPhoneExplorer doesn't send the ...

Check out the GMT-Settings of your Google-Calendar. There exists a seperate GMT-Setting for each Google-Calendar
I know, I was already describing those above ("I have set my individual calendars to Europe/Amsterdam"). If I put those to Canberra's time zone, then all original items are f*cked. I ...

Syncing Google Calendar & Time Zones, Sync msg on close

When I do a full sync with my Google Calendar[S], there are a couple of items that ALWAYS turn up unsynced.

The times of these items are shown OK in Google Calendar, but MyPhoneExplorer keeps showing them with -8hrs diff. (that between Australia & Holland).

Hence, consistently, whenever I add an ...

VCS export: "file is not properly formatted"

When trying to import a vcs-file as exported by MyPhoneExplorer (1.7.0) into a Google calendar, I get the following error message:

File is not properly formatted
Line: 8

On line 8, it states:

RRULE:YM1 7 #0

Importing via an .ics file does work, so it's not a big problem, but I think FJ would ...

Ok, so that's internal database stuff, just like the 'date sent' of sms's?

You could sync them with contact "groups", which makes it easy to mass-message people.

That's just your definition of portable! ;)

If you have a look at lots of the 'portable' versions available on the internet, they requite admin rights as well. An example is Portable VirtualBox. But ah well, I'll shut up now ;)

What do you mean by setting a date range then? Is that an option I never saw before? I just don't get what you mean by that.

FJ, if I make an AutoIt script out of this, which encrypts the commandline with your serial, would you allow me to make a public 'portable' version?

Archive for Organizer components

This was probably asked previously, since it's a really trivial feature. Still, I want to stress it once more: I would love to be able to archive my appointments, so that I can clean up my organizer on the phone and still be able to look up when exactly I went to that beautiful concert again ...

The folder you're looking for is shown here:
File -> Settings -> Advanced 2 -> Database

Usually it's your Application Data folder.
Within that, there's a subfolder 'MyPhoneExplorer', containing your settings file general.ini and a folder specifying your phone type and IMEI number. Within it, the ...

Now, this is as portable as it can get. It's a quick mock-up using a batchfile and a registry file, but it should of course be implemented in something nice like an AutoIt script. Remember that you still need to have Administrator rights!

The only thing it leaves is a randomly generated class in ...

Although it does have the version number of Windows XP SP2, it's a significantly larger file than regsvr32.exe of that same Windows version, so it might be that something has been added. I doubt it though, because that would likely infringe Microsoft's copyrights. Hence, I tried regsvr32.exe for ...

That is the case for so many of these 'portable' programs. "Luckily", most Windows PC's aren't secured that well, and you'll still be able to run the program your friends' computers.

I'm having a look at this myself already, but perhaps you already know: is it necessary to register all OCX's and ...
