Ok, I am on a different computer than the one which MPE keeps crashing on when I seek to use Thunderbird.

On this laptop I am syncing with Outlook and all is well, apart from the Calls option. For some reason it sets the date to January 1970, which is quite amusing seeing one of the calls listed is ...

Possibly if I knew what ICQ was!!

Can't do anything else today as I am out for the rest of the day. Tomorrow any time will do.

Hope this is right.

Started up MPE with debug, connected the phone, tried to sync with phone and it disappeared. Ran the other command, opened up the debug file and copied it here......

OK, did that. Right clicked on a contact, and exported them as an xml file but it wouldn't do it. MPE turned itself off and the same error message already mentioned appeared.

Thanks for quick reply. I ran the file you mentioned. Opened up MPE and changed the sync prog to Thunderbird but when I clicked on the Advanced button, it just disappeared of the screen. However, this time there was an error message which read

Thanks for the reply. I am not using any special characters in my windows username. For the moment I am using Outlook which works fine, but I do prefer Thunderbird. There is no hurry as I am the only one who seems to have this problem.

I have only just installed MPE on this laptop. It worked with phone on another laptop.

Using latest version of MPE and Windows XP and Thunderbird 2.0.0.16

When I go into MPE Options and Sync I can change the option to Thunderbird and Thunderbird/Lightning but when I click on either of the two Advanced buttons MPE switches off!!

Any suggestions would be helpful?
