Datecompare is senseless - the messages hav diffrent timestamps. MyPhoneExplorer joins the messages trought enumerating, so also the StorageID is already included in the algo.

I know they have different timestamps but the parts of a long message will normally have timestamps close to each other ...

There is no way for a real technical fix and the workaround with manual reordering is not pleased to me...

Could it be possible to merge the parts based on more than just Part Id and Storage Id?
Perhaps include the time and date - if the Part Id and Storage Id match on several messages the ones ...
