Hi mate, I'm still a SE user, but have to admit sometimes would like to return to Nokia, some phones are very attractive.

Nevertheless, what is keeping me strongly on SE bandwagon is MPE! I don't think there's such a tool in Nokias world...

So why not think about a Nokia porting? I understand it ...

Franz, I've got it.
The problem was that MPE was using the wrong bluetooth connection (there are two possible BT connections).
Once switched, now it works perfectly! No more earphone disconnections!
I can use MPE, dial out, send SMS and answer using the earphone (no audio gateway)

why 1.5.9 ??

BTW I'm not using the audio gateway on the computer... the bluetooth headphone is connected directly to the phone....

Franz, I have an idea that this issue did not occur in the beginning.... could it be?

It's a while I'm noticeing the following:

When the bluetooth is active and only the earphone is connected everything is fine, the audio is passed to the bluetooth earphone.

If also the PC is connected to the phone using MPE, the earphone can still answer to a phonecall, but the audio is left into ...

In Contacts section, enable a keyboard shortcut to Dial the current contact

What about reading call timers from phone, showing them in the "monitor" window

Well I was asking if it is possible, once the bluetooth headset is connected to the phone, to ask MPE to dial a phone number from the phonebook

While the bluetooth is connected and active on the phone, could I make MPE dial out? Just need to compose the number...then the bluetooth headset will do the rest.

Is there any plan to fix this truncation?

The problem doesn't occur with bluetooth connection, but only with serial cable....

I will try, but it used to work, why all of a sudden it doesn't work.....

Great I have a similar problem and own a K850....
It used to send SMS steadily but now MPE is stuck and after a long timeout a dialog is shown with send failed. Behind the scene the message is really sent (and received) ...... I've tried to search ports again baud rate etc. but still the same ...

I remember once I was asking why the MPE contact->Info ("Notes" in Outlook) field was being truncated by MPE when synching from Outlook.
Your answer was that SE phones (at that time I was using a K800) didn't support more than n characters in the "Info" field.
