Since I updated my Galaxy S5 to Marshmallow, it seems that I have to tick the USB debugging box in developer options each time I restart my phone. Otherwise, I can't connect to the MPE software on my PC.
Also is there a way to prevent the connection from always defaulting to USB Charging??

After you sync, do you see the conversation in the program on the desktop? After that, you can right click the conversation and put move to archive or what I do is I go to the inbox and select all messages prior to a certain date. I do the same for sent. Then I let the program delete the messages ...

Open conversation list in Libre Office Calc (spreadsheet)
I have Libre Office. I do not have excel. I am trying to save a readable copy of my sms messages. I can't open it with Excel, Word, or OpenOffice.

My archive isn't adding in the new messages
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have a galaxy s5. MPE shows over 12000 messages in the "list". I want to save all those conversations, so I can read them on my PC.

1. I don't have Microsoft excel. I have Libre Office Calc as a spreadsheet. How can I open the SMS in that program?
