just reinstalled windows and then myphoneexplorer and get this error. and YES my ADB is working as I use it for android commander and that works 100%.

Me too when first installed on both phone and pc it connected and synced/download my data.
But I have been unable to connect since, after multiple uninstalls/reinstalls and reboot on both devices.

It now looks like it's the phone. As I brought my wife a CHEAP £20 Fly SL399E from argos for £20 and that added the incoming and outgoing comports right away.

Looks like is this crappy MSI Star Key 2.0 thats the problem. I've done some searching and it seems to only work properly with the crappr bluesoilel software. Anyhow I'm sending it back and changing it for a proper one. Thanks

Thats my problem when I click add then browse for the device there isn't one. I have removed the phone from the PC and the PC from the phone. I have also removed the dongle and remove the entries in the device manager so that it would find it again. and this is the error

I have paired my K800i using XP SP2's bluetooth I can send/receive files by right xxx the tray icon and selecting send receive. I then started MyPhoneExplorer 1.6.6 and went to options and clicked search for devicebut the phone isn't found why ?

I've since downloaded and tried mobile master from here http://www.mobile-master.com/download/down.html which does support drag and drop to any folder on the phone. And That has no problem copying the files across. The downside of it is that it doesn't support copying whole directories

the strange thing for me is that I can make and delete folders and delete files but as soon as i try to put a file onto the phone it says forbedden.

Downloaded and installed fma-2.1-beta-4-build-234 and it had NO trouble placing the files on the memory card. I don't think FMA supports drag and drop so could not find out how to place things in specific folders.
