It seems to work via the phone's data connection. What setting or mechanism causes this? Is it default behaviour?


What do you mean by "phone's data connection"? Do you mean cell data or USB connection to your PC?

I am not able to upgrade my MPE client beyond .47 due to it no longer being able ...

I'm not imagining it.
I have noticed though that on the 2 computers running Windows 7 I have only one of them displays this behaviour.

MPE client launches on my phone when I try to connect to it via My Phone Explorer. Even when Wi-Fi is disabled.
It seems to work via the phone's data connection.
What setting or mechanism causes this? Is it default behaviour?

Since updating the MPE client to version 1.0.62 on my Motorola G7 Plus phone the 'Launch Application Automatically' option has gone from the settings menu.
Anybody know why or know how to fix this?
I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the client.

Before I buy a Motorola Moto g, is it supported by MPE?

I have a Sony Ericsson W995 that I use for everything and I sync it with Outlook 2010 on my Windows 7 64 bit PC using My Phone Explorer.
I also Back up my phone and Archive Text messages as well as being able to send and receive text message on my PC using MPE.
