Glad the second method worked. The first was only diagnostic, anyway, and wouldn't have fixed anything.

Personally, if I had that experience, I'd now run a CHKDSK on that same drive, and do it in such a way that you can see on-screen (or read, in a log) exactly what it found.

This suggestion is for the OS version I'm running -- I'm running Windows 7 Pro.

Are you able to boot your version of MS Windows in Safe Mode -- or its equivalent, assuming it's still a feature, or hasn't been renamed? Then, once again attempt to run MPE.

This is a bit confusing to me, as I think these applications are not running in their own processes, but rather under MyPhoneExplorer.

2) Goto: Settings -> Sync -> Events and Tasks frame -> click Advanced -> Calendars to sync.

For some reason I get the impression that multiple local calendars created by the two apps I found -- may not be completely stable. By this, I mean they may suddenly disappear.

I'm going to try FJ's suggestion and see if I notice a difference.

Have you looked at your sync log, to show what happened at the time of your catastrophe? If if was sync-related and there was a mass-deletion from your phone, you may be able to see what was removed from the PC's cache.
