Yes, when connected to USB I am able to reconnect fine when it disconnects.

ok, I did as stated and specified Wifi connection, restarted router and phone, etc. Says it can't obtain the IP address. When I first downloaded MPE it connected via Wifi, then semmingly random this started happening.

I plugged the USB into the other port on the back of my computer which I verified is working, but I still have the disconnect issue.

I don't know if this relates, but when the phone is plugged in, it works fine. I can open My Computer and search the phone and memory card, etc. I can even 'Control ...

Ok I'll try another USB port. I'm not using a hub, though. It's plugged directly to the back of the computer.

What about MPE not connecting via wifi? Did you see anything regarding that in the log?

I have searched the forum and tried all the solutions suggested.

Still, my connection keeps dropping via USB. Lately, it won't connect via WiFi at all.

I still am having issues with the desktop software and the phone frequently disconnecting, even after just a few minutes.

I have tried USB and wireless and it doesn't seem to make a difference. The connection continues to drop.

I'd appreciate any help.

1. This is a known issue. If the connection is just "lost" then it can happen that the client on the phone still thinks he is connected and cause of this you cannot connect again. I check if i can implement a explicit disconnect when the PC goes in idle mode
