Thanks for your reply, pellajl. I'm certain I had Outlook running each time I tried the update, because I've seen that issue in previous versions.

But I will try once again!

The latest PC software (1.8.4) has not worked for my scenario. During multsync attempts, I observe "failed to connect to outlook" when it tries to sync (I only sync tasks and notes). Also, the PC sidebar "gadget" no longer works. I've tried two installations with the same result.
