FJ - first of all, thank you for your work. MPE is the answer I need. You've got a great program!

But....I have lots of contacts (8500+) due to a couple of large groups that I manage & many ...

1) On my phone (Galaxy S2), I start the phone client, then "pull" the top status bar down. I shows me running apps & Notifications. Tapping the MPE Client opens a screen that shows WiFi, Bluetooth & USB connection status. At the bottom of that screen is the Version info.

FJ - your work-around handles the problem perfectly. And I have noticed that it only occured with a few appointments - not ALL of the recurring one's with exceptions. So I haven't had any more issues to work-around. Thanks!

Use "Multi-sync" - that syncs all the different items (Contacts, appointments, etc)

Search this forum for "Beta"; lots of references. You need to navigate to the link it gives ON YOUR PHONE (not on desktop).

Problem resolved with Beta version of the client on the phone. Search this forum to find the link to install the Beta.

Search this forum - there's recent discussion & fix for this. You'll be downloading a Beta version to your phone. Easy fix.

Does putting a comma (,) after the phone number in outlook cause a 3 second pause once the number is synced to the phone?

Would be nice for telephone numbers to handle alpha characters. I have Outlook phone numbers with extensions entered as (248) 123-4567 x8910 - these still cause MPE to put a + in front & treat the number as a country code (Seychelles!).

FJ - the events are not showing up in the MPE desktop. Just on the phone (Galaxy S2 - Android 2.3.4).

The beta version for the desktop fixes this problem for MOST phone numbers. It still puts a plus in front of those with an extension [e.g. - numbers input as (aca) yyy-zzzz x2345 turn out +aca yyy-zzzz 2345].
