How do I get MPE to save the photos received in my text messages when I multi-sync? I remember it used to do this but I don't see it doing it now. I am not wanting it to sync my phone photos.

I exported my text messages by month because the system would not do my thousands of text messages at one time.

I went to import them and I am getting an error message on a bunch of months with the error message saying the selected file contains no messages. When I look at the file size, there is ...

Anytime I go to back up a large number of messages.

I clicked the beta file and after it installs it asks to open the change log. I say yes. When I open MPE, it does not appear to look any different and it still crashes.

1 - How do I open the beta program on the PC?
2 - How do I know I am in the beta program?

I received a new phone. The old phone no longer powers on. How do I get my archived messages from old profile to new profile? I am no longer able to back up my archived messages as MPE crashes.

Thanks. I ended up moving everything back to my phone. I didn't want to test and then find out that my current archived messages were over ridden by what I imported. I cannot create a backup of my computer (archived) items. Someone from FJ Software emails me and we start to figure out why but then ...

You can import the data from the backup file (*.mpb) into your archive:
Archive list context menu (right mousekey)=> Import...

I seem to be missing a ton of archived text messages. I want to restore a previous file, but I don't want to lose what is currently in the computer archive because there are more recent texts. When there is a restore, does it over ride all of the current information?

I too am having the same issues. It crashes when I am backing up. Lately it has been crashing when sync'ing. I just emailed the file log.

I am using the current version of the program. When I back up my SMS it automatically closes. Is this a bug that is getting fixed?

Make sure the phone app is up to date.

Generally I manually archive once a month to free my phone from so many messages (as well as the conversations in MPE). I go to the Inbox and select a message, click the shift key, then select the top message so that everything in between is chosen. I then right click in the highlighted area and ...

After you sync, do you see the conversation in the program on the desktop? After that, you can right click the conversation and put move to archive or what I do is I go to the inbox and select all messages prior to a certain date. I do the same for sent. Then I let the program delete the messages ...

I updated to a Samsung Note 8. I have noticed when I text through the computer with the program, it's adding +1 or 0 before the number. It's strange. It never did that before. On my phone it doesn't show that.

I have the same versions you have. I am running 64 bit and Samsung Note 3. I have not had any problems with notes syncing.

This posted is old. I wanted to know if the auto archive feature has been updated. Is there currently an option to disable?
