the message never gets to the application until I manually hit "Donwload Entire" I use ChompSMS - But I have also used the default application; same results.

has anyone figured out the no notification when you receive an SMS? I have to manually hit the download button when i get a text as well.

it does not - i have to manually retrieve messages.

I never get a notification for new SMS, I have to manually hit "download entire" to get the SMS when i hear my phone vibrate.

I am using HTC Thunderbolt but it also failed in my HTC Incredible.

I am using version 1.8.0 as 1.8.1 did not work for me.
